Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven AVP – Commercial to lead our commercial strategy and operations. This leadership role will play a key part in shaping the financial and business of Spark Academy, with responsibility for revenue growth, pricing strategy, partnerships, profitability, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and own the commercial strategy for Spark Academy, aligning with overall business goals and growth plans.
- Develop and manage pricing models, discount frameworks, and revenue optimization strategies across products and services.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships, channels, and markets.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives.
-Monitor commercial performance through KPIs, dashboards, and regular reports; recommend course corrections as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement through competitor benchmarking and market insights.
Qualifications
- 7-8+ years of experience in a commercial, strategy, business development, or similar role
- Proven experience managing revenue streams, developing pricing strategies, and closing commercial partnerships.
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of financial metrics and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a hands-on approach
