Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of goods.
  • Negotiate prices and terms with vendors to secure the best deals.
  • Evaluate and select reliable vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure ongoing collaboration and support.
  • Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends and pricing.
  • Forecast purchasing needs and create strategic procurement plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, including cost savings and vendor performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the education industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in vendor management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to forecast purchasing needs and manage budgets.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Leadership experience with a track record of managing and motivating teams.
