We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Assistant Finance, Accounting & Tax Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our company by overseeing key accounting functions, ensuring tax compliance, and providing actionable financial insights. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to lead and streamline processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Revenue and COGS Accounting Processes: Take ownership of revenue recognition, cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis, and reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Tax Compliance and Reporting: Lead the preparation and timely submission of monthly tax filings, including PPN (Value Added Tax) and PPH (Income Tax).
  • General Ledger Oversight: Allocate and review tax, payroll, and accounts payable journals to ensure accurate financial reporting. Review journal entries to guarantee that financial statements reflect the company’s performance accurately.
  • Financial Reporting: Compile and prepare comprehensive Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, and other financial reports, ensuring they are completed on time and are reflective of the company’s financial position.
  • Budget Analysis and Variance Reporting: Conduct Variance to Budget analysis to provide insights into financial performance, highlighting key drivers of performance and suggesting potential improvements or areas for optimization.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automating and streamlining accounting, tax, and financial reporting processes. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional departments such as operations, procurement, and sales to ensure financial alignment and support business goals. Offer financial insights to assist decision-making at various levels of the organization.
  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and explaining financial data. Help ensure the company is audit-ready by maintaining thorough and organized financial records.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Supervise junior finance staff, providing guidance and mentorship to help them grow professionally. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the finance team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, and tax functions, ideally in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
