We are seeking a Teacher Trainer for our Education brand (Sparks English) to lead training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of academic staff, including teachers and curriculum developers. This role involves onboarding new staff, delivering professional development workshops, and supporting the continuous improvement of educational standards.
Job Description:
- Train academic staff on curriculum implementation and best practices in teaching methodologies.
- Provide training to new academic staff during the onboarding process to ensure consistency in educational delivery.
- Work with the L&D Manager to create training materials and modules for the academic team.
- Work with the L&D Manager to monitor the performance of academic staff and provide ongoing support as needed.
- Assist in revising training materials and teaching resources to ensure they are up-to-date and aligned with current educational standards.
- Lead workshops and seminars for academic staff to enhance their teaching techniques and classroom management skills.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to academic staff based on observations and performance data.
- Deliver regular refreshment training sessions to maintain high standards of performance across academic functions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. A bachelor's degree in any discipline may be accepted with relevant experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in English teaching or academic training.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and classroom management.
- Experience delivering training programs to educators, including onboarding and professional development.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Passion for teaching and developing the skills of others.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training sessions and follow-up activities.
- Ability to assess training needs and customize content based on audience requirements.
