About the role

The business analyst will either be for Sparks English or Sparks Sports Academy

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  1. Data Collection: Gather and analyze data from various sources, including sales, operations, finance, and customer feedback.
  2. Trend Analysis: Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions, including enrollment rates, financial performance, and operational efficiency.
  3. Reporting: Develop and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders, such as senior management, operations, and marketing teams.

Process Improvement:

  1. Business Process Analysis: Evaluate current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  2. Recommendations: Propose data-driven recommendations to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  3. Implementation Support: Assist in the implementation of new processes, technologies, or systems to improve business performance and monitor the outcomes.

Financial Analysis:

  1. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure alignment with business goals and financial performance.
  2. KPI Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor business performance and make data-driven adjustments.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  2. 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a similar role.
  3. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  4. Solid understanding of business processes, financial analysis, and operational performance metrics.
  5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  6. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
  9. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  10. Familiarity with business case development and strategic planning processes.
