Job descriptions:

  • Create detailed lesson plans for each lesson in a given course level within the given deadline, ensuring it aligns with the targets of each chapter and level.
  • Outline and create learning materials for each lesson within the given deadline, including but not limited to:
    • Lesson presentation/deck
    • Worksheets
    • Practice and assessment questions
    • Reading materials
    • Listening script
    • Video recommendations
  • Handle operational tasks related to curriculum design, including but not limited to:
    • The creation and distribution of learning materials (i.e. Flashcards, trial supplies)
    • The creation of voice recordings for listening practice.
    • Conducting regular backups for Sparks English’s active programs.
  • Conduct Quality Control of peer’s lesson plans and materials, ensuring that the content is suitable for the intended target level and students
  • Be occasionally available to covering classes and trials

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, English Education, or a related field.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with at least 2 years of experience in teaching ESL to young learners.
  • Proven experience in developing lesson plans and educational materials is highly desirable.
  • Experience with ESL (English as a Second Language) teaching is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms such as Canva, Audacity, and Google Workspace.
  • Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and instructional design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in creating engaging and effective learning materials.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
