Scope:

End-to-end management of Learning & Development (L&D) for all functions, including academic staff and sales marketing. Responsible for curriculum design, onboarding, refreshment training, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIP).

Responsibilities:

  • Design and update comprehensive training programs for academic and sales marketing teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead and manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools.
  • Develop and deliver regular refreshment training sessions to maintain high standards of performance across all functions.
  • Design and implement PIPs for underperforming employees, collaborating with department heads to ensure effective improvement strategies.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements for both academic and sales teams.
  • Oversee the delivery of training programs, either by facilitating directly or managing the trainers.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Work closely with department heads (Academic, Sales Marketing) to ensure the L&D strategy aligns with broader business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably with experience in both academic and sales training.
  • Experience in curriculum design, training delivery, and performance management.
  • Proven experience in managing onboarding, ongoing development, and PIP processes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with training evaluation methods (e.g., Kirkpatrick Model) and L&D technologies.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing talent in various functional areas.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and lead L&D initiatives across different teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess training needs and effectiveness.
