Scope:
End-to-end management of Learning & Development (L&D) for all functions, including academic staff and sales marketing. Responsible for curriculum design, onboarding, refreshment training, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIP).
Responsibilities:
- Design and update comprehensive training programs for academic and sales marketing teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead and manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools.
- Develop and deliver regular refreshment training sessions to maintain high standards of performance across all functions.
- Design and implement PIPs for underperforming employees, collaborating with department heads to ensure effective improvement strategies.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements for both academic and sales teams.
- Oversee the delivery of training programs, either by facilitating directly or managing the trainers.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Work closely with department heads (Academic, Sales Marketing) to ensure the L&D strategy aligns with broader business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably with experience in both academic and sales training.
- Experience in curriculum design, training delivery, and performance management.
- Proven experience in managing onboarding, ongoing development, and PIP processes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- Familiarity with training evaluation methods (e.g., Kirkpatrick Model) and L&D technologies.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing talent in various functional areas.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and lead L&D initiatives across different teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess training needs and effectiveness.
