  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to Location and Site Expansion Team. Foster a fast-paced, autonomous, and positive work environment conducive to teamwork, collaboration, and professional development. Motivate team members to achieve individual and collective goals.
  • Market Analysis and Site Selection: Conduct research and analysis to identify potential markets for expansion based on various factors such as market demand, competition, demographics, and economic indicators and translate the information to effectively guide the team. Evaluate potential sites by considering many factors like location visibility, accessibility, local regulations, and cost implications to fit the brand needs.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders involved in site expansion projects, including senior management, department heads, and external partners. Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and potential risks. Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
  • Negotiation and Acquisition: Work with the team, real estate agents, and landlords to negotiate lease agreements or purchase terms for new sites, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
  • Coordinate due diligence activities, including property inspections, legal documents, and environmental assessments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in retail site expansion or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully opening new retail locations on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of real estate market dynamics, lease negotiation principles, and construction processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Experienced in working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experienced in handling budgeting, cost & SLA reduction, and managing project timeline
