About The Role

SEVEN Retail Group is searching for a strategic and results-oriented Business Unit Head to lead one of our Business Units. In this crucial leadership role, you will be responsible for the overall growth, profitability, and strategic direction of the business unit. You will provide exceptional leadership to your team, develop and execute a winning business strategy, and ensure the unit meets its financial and operational goals.

Responsibilities

  1. Independently lead the development and execution of a strategic growth plan for one of SEVEN Retail Group's brands, aligned with the overall company vision.
  2. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and develop effective marketing strategies.
  3. Oversee all aspects of the Business Unit operations, including sales, marketing, customer service, and branch management.
  4. Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Develop and manage the budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and create a healthy P&L
  6. Build and manage a high-performing team, fostering a positive and results-oriented work environment.
  7. Recruit, train, and motivate staff to achieve individual and team goals.
  8. Lead negotiations with partners/vendors.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
  10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
  11. Represent the Business Unit for any engagements with the government, media, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  2. 7-10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the retail industry or other related industries
  3. Proven track record of successfully establishing and growing a brand in a new market.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  6. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
  7. Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
  8. Strong financial management skills and experience with budgeting.
  9. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is essential.
